🌙 Welcome to Camp Moonbeam
The bus doors hiss open. You step out. The air smells like pine and possibility. There’s glitter in the dirt. A half-moon is hanging low in the afternoon sky, like it’s been waiting for you.
Welcome to Camp Moonbeam—where everything is just a little more magical.
For the next 8 weeks, we’ll let the moon lead the way. Her rhythm is the real camp schedule here. Each week, we’ll follow her phases—playing, reflecting, creating, and transforming as she waxes and wanes across the sky.
Right now, the moon is in her First Quarter phase—the part of the cycle where things begin to move. Energy builds. The seed that was planted at the New Moon starts to push through the soil. That little nudge you’ve been feeling? That’s her. Telling you it’s time.
And this week, she’s glowing in Libra—the sign of beauty, balance, and connection. So we’re starting camp with you—meeting the part of you who already knows the way.
This week is about beginning. Gently. Joyfully. Like stepping into a cool lake or tying your first friendship bracelet. You don’t need to know where this goes. You just need to start.

Here’s what’s in your star-scattered satchel:
🔮 Get-to-Know-You Circle – but make it cosmic. You’ll be meeting your Highest Self (they brought snacks).
🎏 Craftivity – design your Bunk Flag, complete with your bunk number and a whole lot of vision-board vibes.
🌱 Set Your Summer Goal(s) – it can be simple or bold. (Eat more fruit? Touch more trees? Laugh with your whole face?)
🕯 Intention Ceremony – light a candle, whisper to the moon, and mark the start of something magical.
🦡 This Week’s Badge – earn the Growing Light Badge for showing up with heart.

🎏 Craftivity: Claim Your Bunk & Create Your Flag
First things first, camper—you need a bunk.
But not just any number on a wooden sign. This is your bunk. Your magical home base for the next eight weeks. So choose a number that means something to you. It could be:
– Your lucky number
– An angel number you keep seeing
– Your birthday
– A number that just feels right (moon logic counts)
Got it? Good. Now it’s time to make your bunk flag.
This is your personal banner of becoming. Your cosmic crest. Your sparkly “Hi, I’m here!”
Use whatever you’ve got—markers, crayons, colored pencils, stickers, washi tape, magazine clippings, wildflower petals. Anything. Everything.
Decorate your flag with:
– Things you love
– Things you’re calling in
– Things you want to do this summer
– Colors, symbols, creatures, phrases—whatever makes your inner child squeal
Hang it above your desk, tape it to your mirror, tuck it in your journal. Let it be your reminder: You’re here. You’re becoming. And it’s beautiful to watch.

✨ Get-to-Know-You Circle: Meet Your Highest Self
Every camper gets a buddy, right? Well, yours just happens to be you.
Not the you who forgot where they put their phone. Not the you who overthinks everything and sometimes forgets to drink water. The other you. The one who lives in your bones with dreams and quiet knowing. The you who remembers how to shine.
Meet your Highest Self—your future self, your inner guide, your radiant ride-or-die.
🌲 The Ritual
Close your eyes. Take three deep breaths.
Imagine you’re walking down a soft forest path. The trees shimmer like they know your name. The wind carries the scent of something you loved as a kid.
Up ahead, there’s a clearing—and in the middle stands someone glowing from the inside out.
That’s them. That’s you.
Sit together. Ask them:
– What do you most want for me this summer?
– What am I ready to release?
– What makes me come alive?
Listen. You might hear words. You might see images. You might just feel something shift.
When you’re ready, write it all down. Or draw it. Or make up a campfire song about it. However your magic moves.
🕯 Intention-Setting Ceremony: Light the Spark
Now that you’ve met your Highest Self, it’s time to listen.
The First Quarter Moon is a phase of becoming. Of choosing. Of leaning into the yes—even if it’s small, even if it’s tender.
And so, like any good campfire ritual, we mark the moment with light.
🌙 What You’ll Need:
– A candle (real or pretend, battery-operated works too)
– A small piece of paper and pen
– A match, a lighter, or just your breath and belief
🔥 The Ceremony:
Sit somewhere still. Take a few breaths. Let your mind wander back to what your Highest Self shared.
Now, write down one intention for this summer session. Or two. Or three. There’s no rulebook, only what’s real for you.
Think small if you want:
– I want to eat more fruit.
– I want to remember I’m magical.
– I want to touch the Earth every Thursday.
Or go big:
– I want to trust myself more deeply.
– I want to forgive my past self.
– I want to fall back in love with being alive.
Light your candle. Read your intention out loud to the flame.
Imagine the moon above you catching your words and tucking them into her pocket.
Blow out the candle (if it’s safe), and whisper:
“I begin.”

Each week, as we follow the phases of the moon, you’ll receive a Moonbeam Badge—a tiny tribute to the magic you’ve moved through.
These aren’t prizes. They’re not for perfection. They’re moon-markers—reminders of the quiet ways you’ve shown up for yourself.
One for each week. One for each phase.
By the end of summer, you’ll have a collection: a soft, shimmering record of your journey.
Keep them in your journal, draw them on your calendar, print and cut them out, or just hold them in your heart. However you carry them is up to you.
